The bioMérieux EPISEQ®CS offering is a new Epidemiology Service to help healthcare institutions manage outbreaks. EPISEQ®CS bacterial strain typing is based on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and whole genome analysis (wgMLST). The EPISEQ®CS software is Web-based and hosted in the cloud. State of the art processing of sequencing data and interactive visualization of comparative results allows the user to characterize pathogens related to HAI cases in prospective or retrospective epidemiological investigations. This software is intended for HAI determination and management only and is not for Diagnostic Use.
